A&E SPECIFICATIONS

• The surface-mount backbox shall be Lowell Model SE1275, which shall be fabricated of 20-gauge steel. It shall measure 12.75 in. square x 4 in. deep. The rear shall feature a universal hole pattern for installation to a 4 in. square, 4 in. octagon, 1-gang or 2-gang E.O. box (not included). It shall include a hole (3.8 in. diameter) with grommet for wire access. The unit shall include a fire-retardant foam pad on the inside (top rear) to help absorb speaker resonance. The backbox shall feature a white powder epoxy finish.
