The recessed enclosure for 8″ speakers shall be Lowell model CP87, which shall be welded unitized 22-gauge steel with black powder epoxy finish. It shall have a 12″ diameter with 6.69″ depth and feature an extended grille mounting flange, four combination knockouts (1/2″-3/4″) for conduit, four knockouts (1/2″) for wire, and 1.5″ thick acoustic lining. It shall be made in the U.S.A. with certified U.S. steel.
