Enclosure with an extended grille mounting flange is for recessed installation, ideal for new construction where the flange can protect the opening from plaster, poured concrete or sheetrock. It can also be used in existing construction when installed in suspended tile ceilings. Steel with black powder epoxy finish.

The recessed enclosure for 8″ speakers shall be Lowell model CP810, which shall be welded unitized 22-gauge steel with black powder epoxy finish. It shall have a 12″ diameter with 10.06″ depth and feature an extended grille mounting flange, four combination knockouts (1/2″-3/4″) for conduit, four knockouts (1/2″) for wire, and 1.5″ thick acoustic lining. It shall be made in the U.S.A. with certified U.S. steel.
